Sesquicentennial Celebration

 Big weekend for both St. Mary’s and Westville’s 150th celebration.

Friday night: Logan Kirby at St. Mary’s hall, tickets are $15.

Saturday: Car Show at St. Mary’s parking lot. (No 4 PM Mass at St. Mary’s, 5:30 PM at St. Isaac’s).

Sunday night: 90’s Daughter with Westville’s own Amy Mitchell, entrance fee $5.

Monday: Labor Day Parade at 11:30 AM and lunch in our Air Conditioned Hall from Noon to 3 PM featuring Pork-loin sandwiches.

Drawing  for 50/50 at 3 PM (right now we are over $14,227, please buy and sell  our tickets!!!!!). Call St. Mary’s at 217-267-3334 we can take credit  cards too.

Cookbooks for the Sesquicentennial are $15.

We  NEED POP/SODA products!!!!!  Please buy these when you are out and  about!!!!!!  If you want to freeze water in Tupperware bowls or milk  cartons—please do so.  It is going to be very hot this weekend.

St. Mary's Church is putting together a cookbook in celebration of the Village of Westville's 150 years. We need recipes for this Sesquicentennial Cookbook. Anyone in or associated with the Westville Community is invited to submit 3 to 4 recipes. Forms are available at Latoz Hardware, Westville Library, or St. Mary's Church. You can drop off your completed recipes at those locations or email them to 150westvillecookbook@gmail.com. The recipes need to be in Microsoft Word format or typed within the body of the email itself. Mailed recipes can be sent to St. Mary's Church Attn: Cookbook Committee, 231 N. State Street, Westville Illinois 61883. DEADLINE TO HAVE YOUR RECIPES TURNED IN IS APRIL 30TH!

Sesquicentennial Opening Ceremony of Flags begins at 4:45pm at St. Mary's Church

Followed by the Food Festival, Polka Music from Eddie Korosa Jr. (The "Boys & Girl" from Illinois), Silent Auction and Bocce Ball at 5:00pm

Entrees $5.00

Desserts $2.00/$3.00

The Logan Kirby Band - 6:30pm-9:30pm

They will bring you all of your favorites in an energetic performance, impersonating Johnny Cash, Hank Williams Sr.  George Jones, Merle Haggard, Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison, Frankie Valli,  Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis Presley and so much more! Join us for a night of  fun and celebrate Westville’s Sesquicentennial with the Home Town boy himself Logan Kirby!
